Bluetooth Instructions for playing music at rink

The rink is all setup now for Bluetooth for all. There is NO need for anyone to ever bring their own device. With that said, connecting your Bluetooth device is now the ONLY way to play music in the rink.   We have made it overly obvious with yellow tape on what needs to happen in order to connect.  We pasted the instructions below on the clear box where the Bluetooth unit is mounted. All someone has to do is follow the instructions below to connect. There is no need to sit in the booth on the ice anymore. Go down to the booth, follow instructions and return to the stands to watch the game and run sound from the stands. This Bluetooth device has a long range...MAKE SURE TO DISCONNECT AT THE END OF YOUR GAME.

This needs to be a rule going forward otherwise we will not have use of audio equipment for games due to the wear and tear that the equipment has seen recently. Bluetooth to this device ONLY or DO NOT run music. Please DO NOT unplug or plug in anything. Everything you need is there and ready to go. Just connect your device.

Specific Instructions:

**CONNECT TO BLUETOOTH TO PLAY MUSIC**

First Time Connecting a Device

PRIOR TO CONNECTING, Turn Volume on Device All The Way Down. You Can Adjust UP Once Connected

1 - Push Silver Button in and hold on the Left Side Front of Box Until Light on the Right Side of Unit Starts Flashing Blue and Red

2 - Look For “iFi Hi-Res Audio” on your device (This may take 10-20 seconds once you have hit the button and the lights start flashing)

3 - Once Device is Connected Light will Turn Solid Blue and “iFi” will light up green for about 5 secs

4 - The Bluetooth has a Super Long Range. Feel Free to Run Music from Stands.

***WHEN DONE, DO NOT FORGET TO DISCONNECT ON YOUR DEVICE***

I would go the extra step and “Forget This Device” from your device/phone so that it doesn’t potentially auto connect next time you are at the rink.
