WHA knows that a hockey team cannot be competitive without a great GOALIE!  

The association has made a commitment to supporting our current and prospective goalies in the following ways:

For Mite levels, the association with provide, at no cost, all equipment required to play the position. We ask that all athletes try the position, at least once, during the season. Your coach or manager will provide more details. Specific goalie practices are also available during the season. 

For Competitive level, there is a 50% discount for full-time registered goalies. This allows families to spend the additional funds on specific equipment and goalie training.  As part of the competitive program, there will be goalie specific practices. 

New for 2023-24 Season! 

WHA has approved a Goalie Training Reimbursement Program:

For Mites 4 and up, registered goalies can be reimbursed up to $300 for goalie training. If it is during the off-season, reimbursement can be submitted following registration for upcoming season.
