Waconia Hockey Association is excited to offer Rookie Camp this summer! This camp will give players new to the game of hockey a chance to get on the ice for fun skills and drills.
Rookie camp is FREE and for those players who have never played for an Association OR are participating in the MN Little Wild Learn to Play program this fall.
Due to the high levels of enrollment in prior year's camps, priority for the 2023 WHA Rookie Camp will be based on the following:
1. Those players brand new to hockey
2. Players from the WHA Community.
This means if your player has participated in our rookie camps before, played for the WHA association/other association, or participated in MN Little Wild Learn To Play program this fall, your player may not be eligible to attend the WHA Rookie Camp. This allows the maximum number of children brand new to hockey, to participate in the WHA Rookie Camp. We appreciate your understanding.
You will be contacted this week before Rookie Camp with additional details and if your child is one of the 60 players eligible (or not) to participate each of the camp sessions.
Rookie Camp will be combined girls and boys and this year will be offered for ages 4 and up.
